If you hold a short-term Z visaand will stay at PKUfor more than 30 days, you need to go to the Exit-Entry Administration of Municipal Public Security Bureau to apply for a residence permit.
Documents Required:
? Visa/ Stay Permit/Residence Permit Application Form(one 2-inch photo);
? Letter issued by the Office of International Relations;
? Passport (valid for at least 6 months);
? Work Permit and Notification Letter of Foreigner’s Work Permit;
? Certificate of Verification for Physical Examination Record for Foreigners issued by Beijing Exit–Entry Inspection and Quarantine Bureau;
? Accommodation Registration Form;
? Certificate of kinship for family members (marriage certificate or children's birth certificate and the Chinese translation version).
Tips:
A fee of 400RMB is charged for short-term residence permit and 800RMB for long-term residence permit. You may pay the fee with cash or via WeChat, Alipay and Debit Card.
