On January 12, 2015, Thailand’s National Institute of Development Administration (NIDA) President Pradit Wanarat and Vice-President Raweewan Auepanwiriyakul visited Peking University (PKU). They were received by PKU Vice President Li Yansong, Dean of the School of Foreign Languages Prof. Jin Yong, and Deputy Director of the PKU Office of International Relations Zheng Ruqing at Linhuxuan.
President Wanarat gave an introduction of the NIDA, including its history, its departments as well as its faculty and staff. Wanarat also invited PKU students to actively participate in the NIDA’s annual summer school program.
Vice President Li expressed his desire to deepen the collaboration between PKU and NIDA. Li introduced its current cooperation models with several tertiary education institutes from Thailand, and noted that PKU wish to expand its ‘coverage’ around the world when it cames to inter-university collaboration.
